The Agri-Pinoy Trading Center (APTC) groundbreaking ceremony held at Barangay Irawan manifests the government support to consolidate its effort to empower farmers and strengthen their trading capabilities for their own produced crops within the City of Puerto Princesa and adjacent municipalities. The said project was funded by the Department of Agriculture-Market Development Assistance thru the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division.The significant event was graced by the City Mayor, Hon. Lucilo R. Bayron (10th from left) along with the City Councilors namely Hon. Victor Oliveros, Hon. Modesto Rodriguez III, Hon. Matthew Mendoza, Hon. Roy Ventura, Hon. Atty. Necesario Awat and Hon. Rolando Amurao. Likewise, witnessing the occasion are Atty. Michelle Acosta, Chief of Staff of Cong. Gil Acosta, Representative, 3rd District of Palawan, Ms. Melissa Macasaet, City Agriculturist, Office of City Agriculture, officers of the Puerto Princesa Agricultural Producers and Marketing Association (PPAPROMA), and the station heads and personnel of the DA-RFO MIMAROPA.
