The Department of Agriculture-MiMaRoPa in coordination with Oriental Mindoro 1st district representative Atty. Paulino Salvador I. Leachon led the turn-over of farm machineries worth P1.175M under the mechanization component of Rice Program held in Divine Word College of Calapan , Oriental Mindoro on October 24, 2019.
On the program, the Gulod Farmers Association and Biga Farmers Association received one hand tractor each while Batino Farmers Association received a 45HP Tractor. The recipients were from Calapan city.
During the program, Mr. Ronie F. Panoy, Chief of Operations Division of DA MiMaRoPa, received a Sertipiko ng Pagpapahalaga, from Rep. Leachon in supporting the Agricultural projects in his district.
“ Malaking tulong ang mga makinaryang ito sa aming samahan” said by a member of Batino Farmers‘ Association after receiving the machinery.
The activity were participated by the different individual/ farmer groups , Local and barangay government officials.
Da MiMaRoPa continuously supports the farmers associations for the distribution of farm machineries; to promote the use of efficient and cost-reducing rice mechanization interventions.
The turn-over was part of the program “Maaga ang Pasko Para Sayo” under the team Mindoro Bago Sarili (MBS) never stop of Rep. Leachon.
